For a long time, I’ve avoided posting much about myself or my opinions. I’ve always stopped and considered possibilities such as:

• potential clients reading hastily written anti-commercialist meanderings about decorating the detritus of the spectacle (but striving for usability and accessibility, of course).
• my students reading my complaints about graphic design education or its reform or destruction, or realizing that I sometimes avoid graphic design work, or that I have sometimes been completely unable to find any.
• other potential readers: distant relatives, in-laws, spammers, the liberal media, the conservative media, cointelpro, the RIAA, the just-plain media, typographers hunting for incorrect character codes, former members of Earth Crisis, proofreaders

But,

it’s probably safe to say that:

• I don’t really have anything too unsafe to say.
• I shouldn’t care what most of those listed above think.
• My site traffic is mostly crawlers.
